James Blake talks about his live set in our current feature interview: “I fucking hate laptops, I really do. I like using them but, to me, they’ve got no place on a stage. You’re like a moth to a flame looking at that bright light. And especially with complicated musical things, there’s always something that could go wrong on a computer. You don’t get that when you just buy a synth and plug it in. You don’t have any other worries; you can just sit down and do what’s natural to you.”
